Trenye Black is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida (LMHC), a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California, and a Certified Telemental Health Provider (CTMH). She earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 and also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Trenye is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in General Psychology. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. and Divine Nine Alliance. Her husband serves as a Chief in the U.S. Navy, and together they have five daughters and a pit bull. She strives to promote positive social change through an unconditional positive regard lens. She has extensive experience in providing services to troubled teens, adolescents and their families. Her passion lies in the development of children, families, individuals and the reintegration of positive and healthy lifestyles for families. She is here to help support you through adversity, resiliency, trauma, parenting, relationships, self-love and anything you need that enhances your skills to become a better you. Her goal is to connect with you on your journey as you live a more purposeful life.
Trenye enjoys reading, baking, working out, engaging in any physical activities (soccer, running, dancing) with her daughters and trying new foods with her husband.
