Our Team

Dr. Trenye Black is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-QS) in Florida, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-S) in Virginia, National Certified Counselor (NCC, board certification), and a Certified Telemental Health Provider (CTMH). Trenye is also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor. She earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 and her PhD in Psychology with a concentration in Teaching from Walden University in 2021.

Jennifer is our Practice Manager

As the Practice Manager at Married to Navy Counseling Services, Jennifer oversees daily operations, billing procedures, and works on implementing growth strategies that center client satisfaction and our organizational values.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Florida and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work. She has an academic focus on the immigrant experience and speaks Spanish fluently.

Her future career goals are to facilitate healthier perspectives on mental health in diverse populations and build bridges between therapy, culture, and language.

Jennifer enjoys cooking, working out, and spending time with her family.
