We are happy to announce that Dr. Trenye Black will take part in a Mental Health Awareness and Solutions Conference SoundMinds representing Married To Navy Counseling Services. Dr. Black will share her experience working with adolescents and young adults.
During the virtual event, July 15, health professionals will talk about mental health with an emphasis on African American and Hispanic communities. Attendees will get a chance to hear real stories and practical ways we can overcome mental health struggles. It’s especially important to raise awareness during National BIPOC Mental Health Month.
Married to Navy Counseling Services’ focus is on military lifestyle issues and marginalized adolescents. Our mission is to promote better mental health and wellness through education, prevention, and intervention for military members. We also work with marginalized adolescents and their families. We embark on a journey with our clients, to ensure each step of the journey is dedicated solely to redefining a future that leads to wellness and recovery.
